- These positions are provisional. Any modifications to the number of vacancies will be notified on the Commission’s website.
- 10% of vacancies are reserved for ex-servicemen (ESM).
- Candidates must upload their domicile and permanent residence certificates from the state or UT that they selected in the online application form, as the CAPF positions have been allocated to specific states and UTs.
- Failure to present at the time of the DME/Document Verification will result in the immediate cancellation of their application and restriction from completing the Detailed Medical Examination.
- Qualified candidates may be posted to any location in India.
- After the final result is announced, the Commission will not prepare or maintain a waiting list or reserve list.
Educational Qualifications (as of January 1, 2024)
The candidates must have passed the graduation process or 10th Class Examination
from a recognized board or university.
Benefits of NCC Certificate in SSC GD
The benefits to NCC certificate holders will be granted at the below scales:

The benefit of extra marks will only be given to a candidate who has selected bonus marks or an incentive for an ‘NCC certificate’ in the online application.
Later status modifications are not allowed if a candidate has not indicated that he is an NCC certificate holder in the online application form.
Ex-servicemen are not eligible for this benefit.

Candidates should not have been born before January 2, 2001, or after January 1, 2006.
- Minimum age: 18 years and maximum age: 23 years as of January 1, 2024.

Computer-Based Exam: There will be one objective-style paper with 80 questions that are given two marks each. You have to complete this exam in 60 minutes.
