SBI PO Exam is conducted in three phases:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview
Preliminary Exam Details
The preliminary exam is MCQ based exam. This is the first phase of the SBI PO exam. After clearing this preliminary exam candidates are eligible to sit in the mains exam which is the first phase of the exam. The preliminary exam contains 100 questions on various subjects such as Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Preliminary Exam is only qualifying in nature. Marks of the Preliminary exam will not counted for the final selection of the exam

Mains Exam Details
The Main exam is the second phase of this examination. the questions are the next level of the prelims exam. mains exam is semi-objective and semi-descriptive, which means it comprises both pattern objective type for some papers and descriptive for remaining others.

Interview
Candidates who have appeared in the mains exam are called for GD-PI (group discussion and personality test) where a panel of interview boards test your personality based on your skills and ability. They also ask questions related to general knowledge. it is the essential process of this exam to ensure the final selection of candidates. Group Discussion is allotted 20 marks, while Interview is allotted 30 marks, approximate.
