The eligibility to enroll for journalism course is 10+2 in any stream. There a number of institutes available providing degree as well as short term courses.

Although these courses does not require special coaching but it does make one familiar with the tools as well as provide on the job training which boosts student’s morale and grant a foothold for future career.

An entry-level Journalist can expect to earn an average compensation (includes tips, bonus, and overtime pay) of ₹15,000 to 18,000 per month.

An early career Journalist with 1-4 years of experience earns an average compensation of ₹28,130 per month.
